WTKR News 3 – New Headshots
There are two new faces at WTKR News which means it was time for them to visit our studio for their official headshots.
Jen Lewis is also a local. Jen grew up in Yorktown and graduated from Tabb High School and Old Dominion University. She currently resides in Virginia Beach with her husband, Keith, and her daughter, AnnaLise. Jen has worked in television and radio her entire 25-year career and is thrilled to have joined News 3 This Morning. Jen reports on morning traffic and anchors the News 3 at Noon broadscast.
When not in the WTKR newsroom, you’ll find her in a radio studio. You can hear Jen during your workday on 92.9 The Wave.
Zach Staton, WTKR’s new sports reporter, grew up in Salem, Virginia loving any sport he could play or watch. Staton graduated from Bridgewater College with a degree in Communication Studies before getting his Master’s in Broadcast and Digital Journalism with a Sports Communication Emphasis from Syracuse University. Zach comes to WTKR from WDAy in North Dakota. In his time at WDAY, Staton has covered North Dakota State football and basketball, University of North Dakota football and hockey, and provided play-by-play for all of WDAY’s high school state tournament broadcasts.
Away from sports, Zach enjoys spending time with his wife, Logan, and dog, Daisy.
