Jaymee and Aaron had their mid-May wedding at the Yacht Club at Marina Shores in the Yacht Club Room. It was a wonderful event with a joining of cultures and families. The bride hand painted table assignments for the guests. The weather was perfect for their wedding and the party was fun for everyone. Jon E. Flex of Astro DJ’s kept everyone on the dance floor, celebrating with Jaymee and Aaron.
We were honored to be able to photograph the wedding of Cyrus and Kyernan at Noah’s Place, a relatively new venue in Chesapeake, Virginia. It was a cold, rainy day but that didn’t diminish the beauty of their event. It was standing room only for the ceremony. They had something that I hadn’t seen before, a foot washing exchange during the ceremony. It was a very touching moment between the two of them. A great party after dinner ended in a surprise snow storm as they left the event.
Angelina and Jeff came to Virginia Beach on March 17th to run in the Shamrock Marathon. They also decided to get married on the beach. They planned their wedding ceremony for sunrise, sharing the event with a few friends. While it may not look like it, it was a very cold morning. The temperature that morning was 27 degrees. Despite that, the sunrise was perfect for their ceremony. No matter how large or small your wedding, we are ready to create beautiful images. It was really an honor to share this special day with Angelina and Jeff.
We have been looking forward to this wedding ever since we learned of Kelsey’s engagement to Christian. Originally, the wedding was going to be later in the year, but Christian received orders to move to Washington DC where he will become part of the U S Coast Guard Honor Guard. He said he wasn’t going to move without Kelsey, so an earlier wedding was planned. They chose The Pavilion at Shenandoah Woods. This location is only 4 years old, but has quickly become one of Virginia’s premier wedding locations. Weather was perfect for this late June wedding. The couple kept this event more intimate but are planning a much bigger reception later in the year.

We photographed Jessica and David’s wedding in August 2015 at the Chesapeake Golf Club. Jessica had been interested in doing an anniversary photo session to commemorate their first year of marriage.
