There are some new faces at WTKR Television. As usual, we are given the opportunity to provide their new headshots.
Ellen Ice is a military spouse who has spent the last four years overseas with her husband. Returning to the States, she is resuming her career as a television news reporter. She previously worked at WINK TV in Fort Myers, Florida, and KSFM TV in Fayetteville, AK. She resumes her journalism career as a general reporter for WTKR TV.
Chandler Nunnally is a Hampton Roads native, formerly attending Indian River High School and Old Dominion University. Chandler joined WTKR News as a director in 2017. Previously he had worked as an intern production assistant for the City of Chesapeake’s Department of Communications outlet (WCTV Chesapeake Television). He recently was moved in front of the camera as co-host of WTKR’s lifestyle show, Coast Live. He described his new job as “the most fun I have ever had at work”.
New WTKR anchor, Pari Cruz is a Chicago native who comes to Hampton Roads from WDJT CBS 58 in Milwaukee, WI. She was a bilingual reporter, MMJ, and anchor. Prior to that, she worked as a news anchor and reporter for WQRF Fox 39 and WTVO ABC 17 in Rockland, IL. She also was a Specials/ Investigative Intern for CBS News in Chicago. She is especially excited to work with and learn from some of the best and most experienced television journalists in the area.
