D’Albert Shaw is a realtor with At Coastal Real Estate in Virginia Beach. He is also a member of a four-person team dedicated to serving the real estate needs of the military community in Hampton Roads. Hampton Roads Military Realty Is headed up by Phyllis Mihalis. Phyllis Mihalas retired from the Army with 28 years of service followed by 10 years of service as a Civil Servant for the U.S. Navy in Virginia Beach and Norfolk, Virginia. She endured many government moves Phyllis and her team understands the challenges of moving, buying, renting, and managing real estate while in the armed forces.
A couple of years ago, we were contracted by WTKR Newschannel 3 to photograph their on-air talent and sales staff at their station in Norfolk. Since then, every time a new reporter is hired by the station, they come to us for their headshots. This gives WTKR a consistent look for all of their talent, something they didn’t have before.
Dr. Freshta Jaghori is an infectious disease specialist in Norfolk, Virginia and is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. She received her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine and has been in practice for 10 years.
We have known Megan for many years. Her daughter has been a dancer with the Masterworks Touring Company and the Academie de Ballet. We’ve photographed her family and most recently we photographed her son Isaac’s senior portraits. Isaac is a remarkable young man. He has Muscular Dystrophy. That disability has not kept him from excelling in school and college. Much credit goes to his mom, Megan.
Lorraine is preparing for a new career in financial services. She understands the importance of a professional business headshot, especially for social media sites like LinkedIn.
Welcome Erin Miller to Hampton Roads. She is the newest addition to the News Channel 3 reporting team. Erin is a graduate of Virginia Tech majoring in Mass Communications/Media Studies. Her first job in the news industry was as a reporter and weekend anchor for WDVM TV in Hagerstown, Maryland. Dr. Dobbs is a professor and department chair of the Ocean, Earth & Atmospheric Sciences school at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Va. Dr. Dobbs received his Ph.D. from Florida State University, held post-doctoral positions at SUNY Stony Brook and University of Hawaii, and joined the faculty at Old Dominion University in 1993. His expertise is in biological oceanography; marine microbial ecology; disease ecology. His research interests are in Marine microbial ecology, microbiology of ships’ ballast tanks, disease ecology, bioelectrics and plastics in the environment.
