Jessica and David – Maternity Photography

Jessica has been a long time friend, photographic assistant, and model for us. We were able to photograph her wedding to David about three years ago. Now they are starting a family with their first child. Of course, we were going to provide maternity portraits for them.

We met at the Chesapeake Arboretum on what turned out to be a beautiful afternoon with mild temperatures. After doing so many shoots together in the Arboretum, Jessica had a good idea of the locations she wanted. She wore the perfect dress for the location. I’m hoping we can do another shoot before she delivers her baby, due in mid-January. I have ideas for some creative studio images. With the holidays and her school schedule, that may not happen. Regardless, we are already making plans to photograph Lily right after her birth.
