Dancer Headshots – Academie de Ballet Competition Team

Once again this year we were asked to provide headshots for the Academie de Ballet competition team. The competition team is made up of intermediate and advanced dancers from the Academie de Ballet in Chesapeake, VA.

This dedicated team is under the direction of Melissa Moore assisted by Brooke Blackman and Olivia Shedd. The team travels to at least four regional and one national competition each year. The dancers are well-rounded and compete in many categories including ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, musical theater, and specialty tumbling.

Dancers are selected by the director each year from students at the Academie de Ballet and must meet level requirements to be considered. Dancers must be enrolled at the Academie de Ballet for one full dance year before joining the competition team. Each dancer competing in anything but tap must have a minimum of one year of training in ballet 3/4 or higher. Dancers are encouraged to study all subjects during the week at the Academie.

We are would love to provide group headshots for your organization or team. We have done groups as large as 500 individuals. Businesses, corporate events, or conventions would benefit from our services.
