Dance Photography – Brooke Blackman

Brooke Blackman was one of the original members of the Masterworks Touring Company.

We are excited that Brooke has recently returned to the company. A J Semiday of Masterworks and the Academie de Ballet had an idea for a dance shoot at a rather unique location, underneath the Great Bridge Bypass in Chesapeake, Virginia. We hiked in through a nature trail at the Great Bridge Locks Park, about a half mile distance. Brooke’s beautiful form and technique contrasted wonderfully with the concrete and steel of the bridge. While a dancer is at home on a stage, location shoots like this are always a welcome creative outlet to display their skills.
