Container Terminal Automation Conference – Event Photography
On November 13th through the 15th 2023, The Port of Virginia and Port Technology Journal hosted the first North American Container Terminal Automation Conference. These conferences have been traditionally held in Europe.
The CTAC has become a well-established forum for collaboration and information sharing in the container terminal industry. The Port of Virginia has been focused on this since 2007 when the first semi-automated terminal in the Western Hemisphere came online in Portsmouth, Virginia. Industry representatives came from all over the world for this conference. The attendees were engaged and collegial in their questions and answers.
